TARANG GAME DAY 2019

Hello everyone!
Tarang is excited to invite you all for Tarang Game Day, organized by Tarang- University of Connecticut and Asha for education: UConn!
As part of the Game Day, we have cricket tournaments, soccer matches and other games like Volley ball, Frisbee and Relay races. Also, we have FREE APPETIZERS for all and exciting exciting prizes for the winners!

If you have a group and would like to play as a team, please write to us at uconntarang@gmail.com. You can also request for a game you want to play and mention it in the email.

There is an admission fees of $5 for UConn Undergraduate students, $10 for UConn Graduates, Post Docs and others. All admission fees shall go as fundraising to Asha for Education: UConn, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting socioeconomic growth through education.

You are also welcome to just come out and support your friends or have a picnic in the park or have a mini photo-shoot by the lake or just support Asha in their work for a good cause, with your contribution. You are more than welcome to bring any game you like and join us!

Tarang – Baisakh Dinner – New year and Spring festival

Tarang presents Baisakh Dinner, the Spring festival celebrating the onset of Spring and new year in South Asia!
Also, known as Pohela boishakh in bengali, Aluth Avuruddha in sinhala, Naya Barsa in Nepali, Gudi padwa in Marathi, Vishu in Malayalam, Ugadi in Telugu and famously known as Holi across the world. 
This spring, come join us to celebrate a night full of South Asian Karaoke, play Housie to get a chance to win exciting prizes followed by FREE banquet dinner!!

This event is open to all UCONN Graduate students. Food will be served on a first-come first-serve basis.
